Honeycomb Sun

Fly like a beetle or fall like a stone
If you float in the middle you’ll float all alone
The silly king sat on a funny bone throne
Beneath the beating sun composed of honeycomb

And the silly king said  whatever came to his head
And the funny bones rattled like a dance of the dead
But the dead don’t know that the king can’t run
And the bones all bleach in the honeycomb sun

Ultimately, gravity, pulls us all together as one
Eventually, predictably , we’ll all collide into the sun

When a wave comes dive or take it for a ride
But if you let it decide then you’ll be bound to the tide
The foolish prince floats on a boat from his home
On a sea beneath a sky composed of honeycomb

And the foolish prince goes to find what nobody knows
To bring his father fortune for his funny bones
But the prince can’t see that it’s all been done
Apples fall from trees grown in honeycomb sun

Ultimately, gravity, pulls us all together as one
Eventually, predictably , we’ll all collide into the sun

Crawl down in a cave or fly through the sky
On the surface you’re imperfect and you’re bound to die
The silly king died and nobody cried
And the funny bone throne it slowly lithified

The throne now made of stone sinks down in the sea
And the dead dance away back to apples on trees
The prince turns to king and the king turns to bones
And the world turns to music made from honeycomb

Ultimately, gravity, pulls us all together as one
Eventually, predictably , we’ll all collide into the sun
